Off road four wheel drive and recovery

Four wheel drive vehicles are invaluable for accessing remote paddocks, navigating rough terrain, and carrying out day-to-day farm operations, but using them safely requires specialised skills and knowledge. Learn how to conduct vehicle checks, perform basic maintenance, drive on unsealed roads, steep slopes, mud, sand and water crossings, and safely use recovery equipment including snatch straps, jacks and winches.

Tractors with rear attachments

Working with tractors is an inherently dangerous activity. Individuals who work at this level must be thoroughly instructed in all health and safety in the workplace aspects of operating tractors with attachments.

Learn how to prepare for, operate and maintain tractor operations with attached equipment and to prepare for, carry out and shut down front-end loader operations in an agricultural environment.
