About this course
This nationally accredited course covers the skills and knowledge required to operate a telehandler and applies to those who work in operational roles across a range of industries.
The course aims to develop knowledge and skills in:
- Planning and preparing for telehandler operations
- Operate telehandler in line with established requirements, including attaching, securing, lifting, carrying and placing materials to complete work activity
- Selecting, removing, fitting and using attachments for telehandler operation
- Relocate the telehandler.

Please note: This program may vary due to venue, weather, and client requirements.
- Participants receive course training materials
- This course is delivered using both indoor instruction and outdoor practical work (proper outdoor work wear is required)
Participants must be 18-year-old or over and hold a current Class C Drivers Licence (SafeWork NSW requirements)
This course is mapped to the national unit of competency AHCMOM303 - Operate a Telehandler.
