If you’re keen to get behind the wheel of a telehandler and use it safely and confidently on the job, this nationally accredited course is for you. Learn how to operate a telehandler for lifting, shifting and stacking loads, while making sure you’re across all the safety checks and controls.

The course aims to develop knowledge and skills in:
  • Planning and preparing for telehandler operations
  • Operate telehandler in line with established requirements, including attaching, securing, lifting, carrying and placing materials to complete work activity
  • Selecting, removing, fitting and using attachments for telehandler operation
  • Relocate the telehandler.

This course covers the skills and knowledge required to operate a telehandler, including the use of attachments, safe driving and operation.

This course is a blend of online and face-to-face training.
  • Pre-workshop online component
  • 1 full day practical workshop
  • This course is delivered using both indoor instruction and outdoor practical work (proper outdoor work wear is required)
  • Participants receive course training materials. Telehandler Guide

  • Participants must be 18-year-old or over and hold a current Class C Drivers Licence (SafeWork NSW requirements)
  • Compulsory completion of pre-course work online prior to attending the practical workshop.
