- University of New England (UNE): UNE offers 48 credit points of block advanced standing (equivalent to one year of a three-year degree) into the Bachelor of Agriculture and the Bachelor of Agribusiness for students who have completed the Diploma through a registered VET provider such as Tocal College.
- Charles Sturt University (CSU): The Diploma of Agriculture provides an ideal pathway into the Bachelor of Agriculture, Bachelor of Agricultural Science, and Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management at CSU. Graduates may be eligible for credit towards these degrees, reducing the duration of study required.
- Western Sydney University: Completion of the Diploma of Agriculture can guarantee entry and potentially provide up to 80 credit points into related Bachelor degrees, which can include the Bachelor of Science or degrees that touch on agricultural sciences, again reducing the duration of study required.
Southern Cross University offers credit into its Bachelor of Science (Regenerative Agriculture) for those with relevant Diploma-level qualifications. Students who complete the AHC50122 Diploma are encouraged to contact the admissions or pathways office of their preferred university to confirm specific credit transfer arrangements and eligibility, as these agreements are regularly updated.
The AHC50122 Diploma of Agriculture is the qualification to give you a firm grounding in farm management The knowledge you gain will be invaluable in your role managing a farm or farming business. The Diploma of Agriculture has a set of foundation subjects with electives for crops and pastures, livestock, chemicals or business. Topics include managing WHS processes, developing climate risk management strategies, managing soil for production, and developing production plans for crops or livestock.
