About this course

Safe and efficient use of forklifts is just smart work practice. This 3 day course trains and assesses participants for a SafeWork NSW forklift licence.

The course aims to develop knowledge and skills in:
  • following OHS procedures and effectively manage hazards
  • conducting routine checks and follow correct procedures
  • operating forklift and shift loads safely and efficiently.

To be eligible for a Forklift licence, you must  obtain a SafeWork AEN (assessment enrolment number) prior to attending training. For more information, visit Safe Work NSW.

Participants must be 18 years or over to enrol in the course.

In addition to your AEN number you will also need to provide photo ID prior to training.

This course is mapped to the following national unit of competency:

TLILIC0003 Licence to operate a forklift truck.
