About this course

Sometimes, using a motorbike on the farm is smarter and safer than a quad or a side-by-side. This one-day Tocal course covers you from basic maintenance through to advanced riding techniques in rough terrain.

The course aims to develop knowledge and skills in:
  • safely and effectively operating two wheel motor bikes
  • carrying out routine checks and maintenance.

  • Operate two wheel motor bikes on or across a slope
  • Operate two wheel motor bikes ascending & descending a steep slope

This course is delivered using both indoor and outdoor instruction.

There are no entry requirements for this course.

This course is mapped to the national unit of competency AHCMOM201 Operate two wheel motor bikes.

Note: Attainment of this competency does not count towards gaining a road motor bike license with the RMS.
