About this course

This course enables workers to contribute to WHS processes in the agricultural industry. The focus is in providing candidates with a good understanding of how to work safely and contribute to WHS policies, procedures, identify hazards and control risks.

Who should attend the course?
Operational farm staff

The course aims to develop knowledge and skills in:
  • The application of work health and safety policies and procedures,
  • to be able to assist with hazard identification, risk control, observe safe work practices and
  • participate in making contributions towards maintaining a safe workplace.

You may be eligible for funding through the Smart and Skilled program. To find out whether you are eligible, contact a training coordinator in your area.

  • 1 day class presentation
  • completion of 5 assessment tasks during the day
  • candidates will take an assessment task back to the workplace to complete within a month.

All of the resource materials will be provided on the day, delivery of the course will take place indoors, with the final assessment task being completed at your workplace.
