An online course covering pesticide acquisition and use for controlling pests such as foxes, wild dogs and rabbits.
People who work with pesticides, herbicides and other chemicals unsupervised are required to hold a current chemical card.
You work with chemicals, some of which are hazardous. You often work alone, and it’s on your head if something goes wrong. Complete approximately 20-30 hours of self-paced study within 12 weeks, and you will know how to store, transport and use hazardous chemicals.

For those who supervise other people applying agricultural or veterinary chemicals. This short course with Tocal College will help you with WHS legislation, with risk management in the use of chemicals, with preparedness in the case of emergency, and with record keeping. Delivered around NSW and available online.
SMARTtrain Chemical application (Level 3)
A two day accredited course for those who apply agricultural or veterinary chemicals in a workplace without supervision, providing the required chemical card. Delivered around NSW and available online.
SMARTtrain Chemical application (Level 3) reaccreditation
A one-day refresher course for those renewing their chemical card at Level 3 as required every 5 years. Delivered around NSW and available online.
