We invest our time and energy in industry and community boards because we want to see them not only function well but ultimately achieve what they are set up to do. This training will guide you toward achieving these goals!
This course is for cotton, grains, production horticulture, viticulture and rice-growing agricultural industries personnel in NSW who want to contribute to their industry and community committees, organisations and boards.
In the online sessions, conversations and resources will focus on how to effectively manage meetings including planning and chairing a meeting, organising the minutes and reporting meeting outcomes. There will also be a focus on the roles, responsibilities and behavioural protocols required of people working within organisational structures. There are also sessions on what requirements need to be considered when entering and managing contracts for funding or staff, stakeholder engagement, risk and monitoring performance.

Georgina works for Tocal College and has held a long-term interest in adult education having started her career as a teacher. Georgina also has a legal background and held a long career working in both the private and Government sector.
Georgina has held committee and board positions over the years as well as senior roles in the Government sector requiring good governance knowledge and practice. Georgina is a qualified trainer and holds the Certificate IV in Governance as well as Certificate IV and Diploma level qualifications in Government Investigations.
Upskill in essential board and committee member responsibilities, understanding and undertaking board member roles, meeting management, best practice in governance principles for business and boards, compliance and business risk management.

Advanced Spray Application - Level 3
Accredited training delivered in partnership with Craig Day of Spray Safe & Save to experienced NSW based growers, advisors, employees and spray contractors involved in grains and/or cotton production.
Managing Spray Application for Agronomists – Level 4
This Level IV Managing Spray accredited training is designed for agronomists/ advisors with a strong interest in broadacre spray planning, setup and application who could specialise in this field for the benefit of their agribusiness.
