    New wage subsidy for fee-free traineeships

    Any businesses or Group Training Organisation that engages an Australian Apprentice on or after 5 October 2020 may be eligible for a subsidy of 50 per cent of wages paid to an apprentice between 5 October 2020 and 30 September 2021, to a maximum of $7,000 per quarter.

    The 2020 NSW DPI Tocal College Approved Australian Stock Horse Sale will be held on auctionsplus on Sunday 1 November 2020.Tocal College sale horses can be inspected and ridden from the 27th of October 2020.     2020 Tocal Australian Stock Horse Sale results

    This year’s Annual Australian Stock Horse Sale at Tocal College was different but still resulted in an excellent outcome for staff and students. 12 horses were offered through an online sale on AuctionsPlus starting Friday the 31st of October and concluding on the 1st of November. The average price received was $15,671.00 across the 12 lots, with top price going to a three-year-old gelding ‘Tocal Remember Me’ at $26,000.

    The Tocal Field Days are held every year on the first weekend in May. Our visitors include people on the land who are looking for the latest innovations, hobby farmers and enthusiasts and people just looking for a great day out.
