Tocal a High Performing Provider

The NSW Department of Education has officially recognised Tocal College as a Smart and Skilled High Performing Provider! This is part of Training Services NSW new Smart and Skilled contracting arrangements, which includes a performance assessment process. Through this process Tocal College ranked in the 91-100 percentile. This ranking is based on student outcome measures including completion rate, employment benefit, personal benefit and student satisfaction.

This is a fantastic endorsement of the hard work of everyone involved in delivering training through the youth and adult education programs, and confirms that our focus on the student and the needs of industry produces a high level of satisfaction.

Some of the key results were:

• Personal Benefit- 89%
• Employment Benefit - 85%
• Achieved Main Reason for training- 94%
• Training Relevance- 92%
• Satisfaction Score- 97%
• Overall Non-Dropout Rate - 87%

High Performing Providers demonstrate the practices and systems operating within their organisations which align to the five components for maximising the student experience set out in the NSW Quality Framework.

These are focussed around a student centred approach, innovative training connected to industry and employer needs, high level individualised student support, high quality assessment practices and staff and trainer capability.
