Technology on farm is rapidly developing and it is turning a new generation back on to agriculture

After some tough years in agriculture due to a nation wide drought, attitudes to farming are changing rapidly. Young people left the land in droves over the last decade, but they are coming home now the seasons have turned. Many are studying agriculture and learning about a raft of new technology including drones, robots and digital mapping and the future of farming is looking very different.
