Last week as part of the NSW Varroa Program, training was delivered in Parkes for Duxton’s, a large commercial Honeybee operation. The training was specifically targeted at Duxton’s overseas workers and focused on building their knowledge and practical understanding of honeybee pests and diseases, as well as the safe use of chemicals.

The training was delivered over three days and covered key aspects of honeybee health, pest and disease identification, management practices and chemical safety.
