About this course

You are invited to participate in a one-day interactive course on how to develop and implement a biosecurity program. You will learn how to identify potential biosecurity threats and hazards and how to conduct biosecurity risk assessments. You will also gain skills to develop, implement and review a biosecurity management program. If you are currently a Sustainable Winegrowing Australia member and are looking to become certified, then this is a MUST do course as you require a Biosecurity Management Program to pass your certification audit.

The course aims to develop knowledge and skills in:
  • Identifying potential biosecurity threats
  • Conduct a risk assessment
  • Develop, implement & review a biosecurity program

This course has been developed by Tocal College specifically for the Viticulture industry and is funded by the NSW Governments AgSkilled Program.

To be eligible you must:
  • Be 15 years old or over.
  • Be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen.
  • Live or work in NSW.
    Your place of residence or physical work home base must be in NSW. If both your place of residence and physical work home base is outside of NSW, but you service industry in NSW, you are not eligible for the AgSkilled program.
