BBM Youth Support Awards are now available to recent Tocal Youth Program graduates.

If you are a recent graduate from Tocal’s Fulltime or Traineeship Program (or a current, final year student) and are under the age of 24, you have the opportunity to apply for the experience of a lifetime!

BBM Youth Support fund travel to the UK for talented, passionate and motivated young Tocal students with a clearly defined goal and plan in agriculture. Each Award is valued at $8,000 comprising of airfares and a cash component to cover accommodation, tuition and living costs.

Many past Tocal students have been successful agricultural awardees with the most recent being 2015 Student Association President, Chris Hvass.

Another past awardee, Timothy Eyes, encourages every Tocal student who has the chance to apply to do so. He says it helped him on the way to becoming a young agricultural entrepreneur and the confidence to start his own businesses, "Eyes Farm Contracting" and "Eggs on Legs".

During her 2014/15 Lord Forres Agriculture award tour of the UK, past Tocal student, Madison Riley, enjoyed many great experiences including being named Champion Handler at the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Show.
