This training is fully funded to eligible participants.
Tocal College will be offering a range of courses across a number of disciplines in Walgett, from Monday, 11 to Friday, 15 March, as part of the SafeWork NSW Quad Bike Safety Improvement and AgSkilled Programs.
These accredited courses will provide basic skills to assist participants to safely and effectively operate farm machinery and to understand the importance of routine checks and maintenance.

The quad bike operation course is funded through the SafeWork NSW Quad Bike Safety Program, which offers eligible farmers and their workers rebates in implementing safety measures around the use of quad bikes on farms.

AgSkilled is a vocational training program for the cotton and grains industry funded by the NSW Government, with industry partners Cotton Australia and the Grains Research and Development Corporation.
Tocal College is renowned Australia-wide for providing students with practical training, development of industry-relevant skills and experience in general agriculture, beef cattle, dairying, rural business management, sheep production, cropping and conservation and land management.
