At completion of this course landholders will have the knowledge and practical experience to handle livestock efficiently to ensure minimum stress to livestock.

  • Provide basic techniques for handling and moving of livestock
  • Minimise stress to livestock when handling
  • Ability to work livestock in a controlled and safe environment
  • Knowledge of general husbandry operations including disease, feeding, diet, water, vaccinations, drenching

  • Participants are provided with a course manual.
  • This course is delivered indoors and outdoors.
