About this course

Looking to develop or refresh your skills in farm crop trials? You are invited to participate in a hands-on course for blueberry farm personnel who want to host a research trial or set up their own in-crop farm trial. Learn the latest in research design and data collection from Dr Sophie Parks, a plant systems research horticulturist, and other CSIRO researchers.

The example trial set up for this course will address blueberry rust.

The course aims to develop knowledge and skills in:
  • What makes a good trial – experimental design
  • Common problems with trials and how to overcome them
  • Planning a crop trial
  • Good data versus bad data
