The NSW Department of Primary Industries has proactive measures to limit the impact of COVID-19 at Tocal College campuses and through our industry training programs.

Tocal have adopted social distancing measures and strict hygiene protocols. We respectfully ask that if you have any cold or flu-like symptoms that you do not attend the College or any of its training events. If you have COVID-19 symptoms, get tested at a COVID-19 testing clinic. Symptoms include cough, sore/scratchy throat, shortness of breath or fever. Self-isolate until you get your results.

The Tocal Beekeepers’ Field Day is an entirely virtual event on Saturday 17th October 2020 streamed through Facebook and YouTube!

The Tocal Beekeepers' Field Day has been running for 41 years. It is run in collaboration between the NSW Department of Primary Industries, Tocal College, Amateur Beekeepers Association of NSW, Hunter Valley Amateur Beekeepers Association, Hunter Valley Branch of the NSW Apiarists Association and Wheen Bee Foundation.

Starting from 9 am, there will be a full program of informative presentations, beekeeping demonstrations, honey competition results and much more.
