Landscapes on Tocal

The landscape of Tocal is quite complex, but some broad landscape units have been identified. Each has different features of slope, soil and vegetation, and each category has particular management issues.
Each of the landscape units that are considered here will be covered in more detail in other parts of the e-farm (soils is already available, and land capability, vegetation, fauna, land use and the updated property plan will be added soon).
The transect below traces an arc from View paddock to Webbers Creek and shows how the landscape units relate to each other.
